The DMC-EZ Enterprise™ network disc publishing solution provides healthcare facilities with the security of a single internal server, while at the same time providing users with the ability to utilize multiple Discproducers™ located throughout the facility. DMC-EZ Enterprise addresses the IT Department’s security requirements, yet gives users the freedom to choose to which location a CD/DVD will be burned. For high-use areas, load balancing between two or more Discproducers is available. From hard copy CD/DVDs to secure electronic delivery of images, the DMC EZ Enterprise addresses all a medical facility’s image delivery needs.
The DMC-EZ Enterprise browser-based interface provides on-demand CD and DVD creation of DICOM studies and other PHI elements from anywhere on a network. Images, reports and EMR data are bundled with a comprehensive DICOM viewer and sent to any Discproducer located on the network. Multiple Discproducers can be located throughout the facility, for example the film room, ED, medical records, CT, MG and other locations. All disc activity flows to a single log file which can be accessed by the administrator from anywhere on the network.
With the inclusion of SST Group’s popular DICOM Virtual Media Creator (DVM™), users will also have the ability to create electronic copies of patient studies and send them to necessary stake holders. DVM Lite provides a simple, fast and secure way to deliver DICOM images outside a facility while maintaining HIPAA/HITECH compliance. With DVM Lite, sharing protected health information (PHI), including DICOM images, is as simple as sending an email. The receiver simply decrypts the package using a secure password and the electronic patient file containing the PHI opens on the user’s desktop.
DMC-EZ Enterprise includes an import tool which allows facilities to upload external studies. An embedded web server and web viewer provides an alternate view of these studies, eliminating the need to store them on PACS. The DMC-EZ Enterprise has numerous best-of-class software features such as study disc encryption, rules based DICOM routing, option to download to USB flash and a convenient back-up tool.
