PEELSafe Advantage eliminates the need for ultrasound gel on the inside of the transducer cover by utilizing an adhesive to couple the cover to the transducer lens. This, combined with fast, intuitive deployment mechanisms and CIVCO’s time-tested CIV-FlexTM material makes for a cover series that takes ultrasound infection control to a whole new level of functionality and convenience.
The adhesive being used in PEELSafe Advantage was specifically selected for the ease with which it can be repositioned on the transducer face, ensuring proper contact between the transducer and the cover for distortion-free imaging throughout the procedure. Once scanning is complete, the cover is easily removed with minimal force and without damage to sensitive external transducer components, leaving nothing behind but a clean, gel-free transducer.
