Fovia Introduces XStream® HDVR® Web App Builder
F.A.S.T.® Development on XStream® HDVR® WebSDK Platform Now Available

Palo Alto, California, November 27, 2016 — Fovia, Inc., the developer of High Definition Volume Rendering® and a world leader in imaging technology, today introduced the addition of XStream® HDVR® Web App Builder to its SDK portfolio. By combining Fovia’s advanced volume rendering capabilities with a robust set of web-based developer tools, original equipment manufacturers can quickly deliver browser-based 3D imaging products to the medical, dental, industrial, geoscience, bioscience and life science markets.

The XStream HDVR Web App Builder represents a paradigm shift in web-based visualization development. It is ideal for companies that want to minimize the time and effort required to develop new cloud-based imaging applications or migrate their existing imaging applications to the cloud.

Built on the XStream HDVR WebSDK platform, this innovative offering provides expanded web developer capabilities for implementing and deploying zero footprint, cloud-ready imaging products quickly and easily. OEMs are able to provide their customers with best-in-class imaging, anytime, anywhere, on desktops, laptops and mobile devices without requiring software to be downloaded or installed.

The XStream HDVR Web App Builder includes an extensive library of advanced workflow examples, such as F.A.S.T. Cardiac, F.A.S.T. Pulmonary, F.A.S.T. Renal and F.A.S.T. Colonography. The workflow examples provide a time-saving starting point and are accompanied with other features in the XStream HDVR Web App Builder that make it easy for OEMs to customize interfaces for their particular markets. OEMs may also choose to start with a more basic workflow, such as F.A.S.T. MPR, which can be embedded directly into web pages with a minimal amount of development.

“Our XStream HDVR Web App Builder allows developers to create a wide range of applications—simple, sophisticated, and everything in between,” said David Wilkins, Vice President, Business Development. “We are excited to partner with companies that recognize the short and long-term benefits of providing their applications in the cloud. Whether a company is striving to create new applications for the web, or they simply want to move their existing offering to the web, Fovia is uniquely positioned to shorten the time-to-market for imaging products.”

See XStream HDVR Web App Builder at the 102nd Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) at McCormick Place, Nov. 27 - Dec. 1, in Chicago (North Building, Hall B, Booth #6910). To see a demonstration at RSNA or learn more, contact us.
